HTTP Login

Some HTTP servers might not allow anonymous connections but require a username and password.
If you want to download files from a secured server and you have a suitable account, you can setup LeechGet to automatically use the appropriate login-data for each server. Just enter the server, your username and your password and click on "Add". You can as well enter a server followed by a specific directory like "www.myserver.com/secured" if your server (www.myserver.com) provides a password-secured directory called "secured". All passwords are stored using a 128 Bit encryption algorithm.

Select the box "Ask for login information when necessary" to allow LeechGet to open an authorization dialog when connecting to unknown secured servers that are not contained in the login list (see above). This dialog provides you the possibility to enter a username and a password for the current server and, if wanted, to store the login information for future use. This options should be turned on at any time.
